A vibration car alarm that is easy to install, and sits entirely inside engine bay - $250
Entirely contained in engine bay. No need to pass wires from the engine bay to the cabin.
There is On/Off switch on the box. When alarm is ON, it only works when keys are out of ignition switch (or ignition switch is in OFF position). The alarm is automatically OFF when the engine is running.
Uses FIAMM Freeway Blaster Horn (130db), included with the alarm.
Waterproof and heat resistant.
Only three wires to connect: One wire to chasis/ground, and two wires to the fuse box in engine bay. There is no need for splicing wires (and potentially damaging circuits).
There is no need for screws/bolts to secure the alarm (although the enclosure is ready for it). You can use zip ties to secure it in place.
Perhaps the biggest challenge in installing the alarm is finding a place for installation in the engine bay. The alarm should be mounted on a flat surface (19 X 11 centimetres) that does not get excessively hot when engine is hot.
I sell the alarm locally, in the Greater Vancouver Area, BC.
I can install it in your car for free (it only requires access to engine area), or I can explain to you (and you will be able to see in my own car) how to install it.
You are welcome to contact me before you buy the alarm, to see and test the alarm in my own car.
You get one year of free repair if anything goes wrong during normal operation of the alarm.
I designed this car alarm myself. Each car alarm is individually assembled from off-the-shelf quality components rather than mass produced.
Delivery of the alarm is 4-6 weeks after purchasing.
